Texas Women's Open
The Texas Women's Open is a golf tournament, played in the Fort Worth, Texas area. From 1950 to 1954 it was an LPGA Tour event,〔(LPGA Tournament Chronology 1950-1959 )〕 although it was first played in 1933. It was revived by the North Texas section of the PGA of America in 2001.〔(History of the Women's Texas Open )〕 It was played at several courses in Fort Worth from 1933 to 1955 and in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex since 2001.
